Play
Photos by Ogen Newcomb
Ogen, a recent high school graduate, volunteered at the centre during the easing of the Covid shut-down. In his free time, Ogen biked the trails, raced with deer (the deer won), rollerbladed down steep hills at frightening speeds and took a number of photos. At the end of his stay, Ogen presented images of his impressions of the centre–compositions that explored space, natural and manmade. He also caught animals at play, while himself playing with photography. The result is a reminder of the importance of play, even during this time of isolation and uncertainty.
